Stripper Olympics
Portland, Oregon - the strip club capital of the great western world and now also home to the stripper Olympics. I would of loved to be there to witness this but the NY Times just didn’t think they could afford to fly me out due to the crumbling economy. Thankfully my new friend, photographer and co-owner of Sugar Gallery in Portland, Michael J. Demeo was there to catch all the action.
The prizes were not medals but cash(ranging from $200 - $500) because well strippers like their awards in paper not medal…duh!
The first event was the wet t-shirt hula hoop challenge:

And now the girl who clearly killed it:

Strippers and penguins! Who knew they went together so well.
The second event was the naughty talent show:

She can skateboard AND eat bannanas! And look adorable while doing so.
Honestly not sure what talent this is.
Having a nice ass is a talent. Dammmmmmn.
The third event was the wiener stuffing contest:

The fifth and final event was the bull ride:
There are no pictures of this event. Apparently Michaels camera was actually eaten by a bull and he was comforted by all the beautiful dancers happily ever after.

I live in Oregon and no joke there are at least 5 strip clubs within walking distance of where I live. They’re everywhere!

going to the stripper olympics would’ve been amazing. i used to live in portland and there were like 2 strip clubs down the street from my elementary school..no joke. it was major controversy with the pta but they never shut them down.
