Bushwick Police Keep Cam Girls From Work
So today I was gonna go on cam and work from about 11 - 5, and than 7 - 12.
BUT there’s a block party outside my apt, at first I was like ok embrace the loud Latin music and use it to your advantage and dance to it. I like to try to adapt to shitty situations.
Than they turned up the music. It was so loud people couldn’t hear me in chat and were also complaing about the music. I had to log out of work. It got even louder. So loud I can’t blast my radio over. So loud that with earplugs in and the radio turned all the way up I can still hear it.
I called the cops and explained I work from home and that I simply could not work because of this. They told me there was a permit for it. When I asked how it’s legal to get a permit to blast music so loud that it interferes with a persons quality of life[which is illegal] and work, they had no answer. They “transferred” me to a supervisor who never picked up. They gave me the number for the mayors office where as it’s a Saturday no one picked up. I called back and asked how as cops they can do nothing for me. They said call 311. I’ve called 311 for noise compaints before, they get over a thousand complaints a day. It’s useless. I explained this and they didn’t give a fuck.
I hate the Bushwick cops. They stole $300 from me. They saw me hug a black man[who is my friend] at 11pm and insisted on interrogating me for it. I’ve also been stopped for walking home on a Sunday night sober and asked if I was high and/or a hooker. The one time I was mugged they did nothing.
I’m currently sitting in my bathroom with ear plugs and the computer and shower radio blasting. This is the quietest place in the apartment complex[I tried the hallways].Hopefully the music gets turned down by 4 or 5 ish. Otherwise I’m going to be stuck working late tonight.
If you want you can call 718-963-5311 and complain about the fact that the party on Humbolt and Moore is keeping hot naked girls from working.

Yeah, I’ve dealt with that bullshit before too… although it started at 11:30 PM and didn’t end until 6 AM and it was a group of ignorant Latinos outside my bedroom window blasting music from their souped-up car, smoking pot, and smashing beer bottles on the ground.
Bushwick police? They did nothing.
