When I went to the Bust Craft Fair not only did I spend waaay too much money[handmade bond girl ruffled underwear? WHY NOT]…I SAW AMY SEDARIS.
And
I got STAR STRUCT
This has Never Happened to ME. EVER. I’ve been around famous people good enough and they never faze me.
But Amy, oh my god I love that women. I couldn’t even bring myself to talk to her. i was to nervous and at a loss for words. It took me forever to even go NEAR her booth. This has never happened to me.
I did buy a dope calendar from her though!
I mean how can you not love this woman:
I grew up watching Strangers with Candy. If I’m this cool at her age my life will be a sucess.

YES!!! Amy is the most fabulous woman alive—I could read Hospitality Under the Influence for years.
When I was sixteen I hung out with John Cameron Mitchell for a weekend. The first time we met I was practically vibrating. He leaned in, that huge immortal German nose inches from mine, and whispered: “Don’t get so choked up.” Best night of my life.

I love Hospitality Under the Influence…it makes me want to become a better cook.
Oh I love JCM…I met him when he was in Hedwig drag out and about in NYC at the Rated X party. I entered the Hot Body contest and should of won[got the loudest clap] but didn’t. Afterwards my friends and I were eating pizza and he walked in with a friend and started talking to us and told me i should of won and was the hottest one up there! I was so happpy hahahhaha, it was a better prize than winning.

At lost for real words I called gideon yago a hot slut at the delancey.
The next night I saw him at rosario’s getting pizza and called him a hot slut again.
I don’t know if this is so much “star struck” as it is coincidentally very drunk…two nights in a row..?

Ah Sinead, what time were you at the fair? I got to the place at around 7:00 and they weren’t letting any more people in unless a vendor came to claim you. I actually called Yumna to see if she would have Keiko’s phone number (a long shot…I know) so she could come outside and get me. So pissed.
I met Amy Sedaris at the Fred Flare sale in BK last year (the same day as the Bust Craftacular 2006) and I actually made her laugh. It was nuts.
